The problem
One question, all day long
During busy season the office phone rings all day with one question: where am I on the list? Every call interrupts someone. Nobody enjoys it — not the staff, not the person calling.
The wait list is real and the question is fair. People want to know where they stand. What they don’t need is to sit on hold to find out.
What changes
Fewer calls
The question that interrupts your office all day gets answered before anyone picks up the phone.
Position, not promises
Property owners are told where they stand, which is always true. Estimates are wide, labeled ranges — never a date you have to defend later.
Calmer staff, happier customers
Your staff stop repeating the same answer all day, and your customers stop wondering where they stand. Both sides get their time back.
How it works
Three steps, no more
1
The office keeps the wait list in DrillList instead of a whiteboard or a spreadsheet.
2
When someone’s position changes, DrillList texts them.
3
They stop calling to ask.
Property owners only ever see their own position. This is the office’s side of it — the whole list, in one place.
| Pos | Property owner | Estimated window |
|---|---|---|
| 14 | R. Jones | 2–4 wk |
| 15 | T. Smith | 3–5 wk |
| 16 | M. Gonzalez | 3–5 wk |
| 17 | K. Robinson | 4–6 wk |
| 18 | K. Alvarez | 5–7 wk |
On timing
Position is a fact. Dates are not.
DrillList tells property owners their position, which is always true. Timing estimates are shown as wide, clearly-labeled ranges that can change — never as a promised date.
That honesty is the point. A range that might move is trustworthy. A date that slips is another reason to call the office.

Consent & messaging
How text updates work
Who receives messages
Property owners on a drilling company’s wait list receive text updates.
How they opt in
Property owners give permission to be texted in one of two ways: by signing the releases and estimates that are part of the project kick-off process, which include consent to receive text updates, or by being asked verbally by the drilling company’s office staff during intake. Consent is recorded with the date and time it was given. Property owners are not signed up for wait-list text updates through this website.
What they receive
Subscribers receive a text when their position on the wait list changes.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop
To stop text updates, reply STOP to any message. Updates stop immediately.
How to get help
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact the drilling company directly.
